What is the advantage of using a contractor over a mine doing the work themselves?

Where direct mining costs are a significant proportion of total operating costs, a mine has a life of more than five years, there is the ability to maintain a reasonably constant mining rate and there are existing or available experienced mining personnel then owner mining should be considered along with the option of contract mining.

Contractors offer mine owners a number of advantages for projects that have short mine lives, widely varying mining rates, limited company borrowing or credit capacity, complicated joint venture arrangements, a lack of mining experience, a policy of out sourcing or a rigid labour market.
Where are we located?
Our main office is in Southern Ontario, one hour from the Toronto International airport. We also have field and logistical offices in Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

Yes we are! Andean shareholders are proud of their Aboriginal heritage and are constantly looking for new team members to join the team. We understand that many mine locations are on or border Aboriginal land, therefore, hiring and training our neighbours is one of our top priorities.
